1 Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pet ID software and associated services operated by Woof OpCo (“Woof,” “we,” or “us”), including the websites https://woof.pet/ and its subdomains, and the mobile application Woof: the Smartest Pet ID (collectively referred to as the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2 Declaration of rights and responsibilities

2.1 Community standards

Welcome to our community. We understand that pets are part of the family, and we are pleased to offer the world’s smartest Pet ID to our users.

Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for pets and provide valuable resources for pet owners. By using the Service, you agree to interact respectfully with other users, adhere to our community standards, and use the Service in a manner that supports the well-being of pets.

2.2 User obligations

Provide accurate and truthful information when using the Service.
Follow all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Service.
Do not engage in activities that could harm or disrupt the Service or other users.

3 Features of the Service

The Service provides an automated self-reporting tool designed to assist in managing pet populations and offers pet owners a virtual assistant for their pets’ everyday needs. The key features of the Service include:

Pet pin: each pet registered in the system is assigned a unique pet pin, which ensures secure identification and access to pet-specific information. The pet pin enhances the security and personalization of the Service by linking each pet to its unique identification number, facilitating effective management and tracking of pet-related information.
Automated reminders: the Service sends reminders for vaccinations, vet visits, and medications, helping ensure that pets receive timely care.
Pet care tips: personalized tips and advice on pet care are provided based on the pet’s profile and needs.
Local partner offers: access to a network of local partners offering exclusive deals and discounts to Pet ID holders.
Incident reporting: users can report various pet-related incidents, including lost animals, found animals, animal bites, problems in pet-friendly areas, problems in common areas, and zoonotic diseases.
Check-ins in pet friendly areas: users can check in at designated pet friendly areas to confirm their presence and ensure that these areas are maintained and safe for pets.
Personalized experience: the Service delivers a tailored experience based on the pet’s profile and the user’s location.

4 Subscription Plans

The Service offers two subscription plans:

Family Plan: Includes registration of unlimited pet profiles and allows the addition of up to 4 additional caregivers per registered pet.
Individual Plan: Includes registration of a single pet profile and does not include caregiver additions.

Both plans are available on a monthly and annual basis. The applicable prices for these plans are available on the Apple Store and Google Play, as applicable.

Woof OpCo US may offer a free trial of the Service from time to time. Details of any free trial offer will be provided at the time of the offer and are subject to change.

5 Purchase of additional pet pins

Users may purchase additional pet pins for any additional pets they wish to register in the system. Each pet pin is unique and assigned to a specific pet, ensuring secure identification and access to pet-specific information.

To acquire additional pet pins, users can follow the purchasing process outlined in the Service. The prices for additional pet pins are listed on the Pet ID and the Pet ID website. Payment for additional pet pins is processed through the designated payment methods supported by the Service.

By purchasing additional pet pins, users agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined for the Service and acknowledge that each pet pin is subject to the same terms of use as described in these Terms and Conditions.

6 Partners’ discounts

Any discounts or offers provided by partners through the Pet ID system are solely from such partners. Woof OpCo is not responsible for the validity, fulfillment, or any issues related to these discounts.

7 Property’s Pet friendly Policy

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree with the property’s Pet friendly Policy as described in the relevant policy documents.

8 Reporting pet-related incidents

The Service allows users to report pet-related incidents, including but not limited to:

Lost animals
Found animals
Animal bites
Problems in pet-friendly areas
Problems in common areas
Zoonotic diseases

You represent and warrant that all information provided in such reports is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

9 Emergency Procedures

You acknowledge the existence of Emergency Procedures that, along with these Terms & Conditions, are essential to ensure pet-human well-being in the event of an emergency. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these procedures.

10 No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your expectations or be free from errors or interruptions.

11 Health and Safety Disclaimer:

We are not responsible for any health problems, injuries, or accidents suffered by pets as a result of using the Service, including but not limited to issues related to the accuracy of pet-related information or incidents reported through the Pet ID system. The Service is intended to assist with pet management but does not replace professional veterinary advice or care.

In no event shall Woof OpCo be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, any loss of profits or damages arising out of or in any way related to the use of the Service. Our liability, in any case, shall not exceed USD $100. If applicable legislation does not allow for limitations or exclusions of liability for certain types of damages, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by such legislation.

12 Intellectual property

Woof OpCo retains all rights to the intellectual property associated with the Service, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, content, and software. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any intellectual property without prior written consent.

13 Registration and account safety

You agree to provide accurate information when registering for the Service and to maintain the security of your account by not sharing your password or account details. Users must be at least 14 years old to use the Service and must not have been convicted of animal abuse.

14 Amendments

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and you will be notified through the Service. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15 Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. We will notify you by email of any such actions. You may also deactivate your account at any time.
