This policy outlines the guidelines and responsibilities for pet ownership within our community to ensure a harmonious living experience for all residents.

  • WoofKey: the Pet Identification System is integrated with WoofKey, a smart collar tag that enables quick pet identification. With WoofKey, anyone can instantly access your pet's information, making it easier to identify lost, abandoned, or at-risk animals. The tag requires no batteries and works seamlessly with the Woof Pet ID, ensuring enhanced security and quick recovery of the pet.

  • Exclusion: this Pet friendly Policy does not apply to service animals and emotional support animals (ESAs) as defined under federal law. Under the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), these animals are not considered pets and are entitled to certain protections. Therefore, while mandatory pet registration is required for pets under this policy, it does not extend to service animals and ESAs. However, even though registration of service animals and ESAs is not mandatory, we encourage residents with these animals to register them under the Pet ID system to enjoy all the benefits of the solution.

  • Purpose: the Pet ID system helps track pet health, vaccinations, and behavior, optimizing pet-human wellbeing within our community.

  • Requirements: residents must provide the following during registration:

    - Pet's name, species, breed, birthdate and gender;

    - Pet's photograph;

    - Up-to-date vaccination records;

    - Most recent veterinary visit records;

    - Current medications, including anti-flea treatments and vermifuge; and

    - Any relevant medical history or behavioral notes.


  • Compliance: ongoing compliance with the Pet ID system is required. Residents must update their pet's information regularly to reflect any changes in health, behavior, or residency status.

  • Waste cleanup: pet owners are responsible for promptly cleaning up after their pets in all common areas. Waste should be disposed of in designated pet waste stations or appropriate trash receptacles.

  • Health: pets must be kept up-to-date on vaccinations, regular vet visits and be free of fleas, ticks, and other parasites. Proof of any of the foregoing may be requested by management.

  • Reporting: all pet-related complaints or incidents must be reported through the Pet ID system. This system allows for efficient tracking and resolution of issues.

  • Action: management will review and address complaints or incidents reported through the Pet ID system promptly. Appropriate actions will be taken to resolve the issues in accordance with this Pet friendly Policy.

  • Consequences: violation of the pet policy or non-compliance with the Pet ID system may result in penalties, including additional fees, removal of the pet from the premises, or termination of the lease agreement.
