The smart pet Id system uses a unique identifier embedded in a pin worn by your pet. This pin communicates with your unique digital pet Id. In its two formats (pin and digital), your pet Id has all important information about your pet, such as medical history, contact details, and care instructions. It helps ensure your pet’s safety and well-being by providing quick access to vital information.
How does the smart pet Id system help me care for my pet?
It provides easy access to their medical history, vaccination records, and care instructions. It also offers reminders for appointments and medication, ensuring your pet’s health needs are always met.
How does the smart pet Id system help me prevent diseases in my pet?
It sends you notifications and alerts according to your and your pet’s data. The smart pet Id system covers all existing diseases in 100% of dog and cat breeds.
Is pet registration mandatory with the smart pet Id system?
Yes. If you have an animal and you live in a Covered Community you must register your pet with the smart pet ID system. The system is designed for all types of pets, including dogs, cats, and other animals, and it is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet.

Safer communities means better care, less viral and infectious diseases, less incidents (e.g. dog bites, lost animals) and higher overall happiness and wellness levels. For example, only 10% of fleas are visible on a pet; the other 90% are hidden as eggs, larvae, and pupae in the pet’s environment. In summer, fleas can multiply rapidly, turning a few into thousands within 21 days. Flea pupae can survive in homes for up to a year and are difficult to eradicate. For your subscription, the available payment options include credit and debit cards, digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you no longer have a pet, refunds are typically handled on a case-by-case basis. You can request a refund or pause your subscription by contacting our support team.
What if I move from my current community to another that does not have the smart pet Id registration system or I do not have a pet anymore? Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. But you can always ask your new property manager to implement the smart pet Id system in your new community. Please reach out to us to make your new pet community safer and save money while ensuring the best pet care.

What can I do if my community doesn't have the smart pet Id system yet?
If your community doesn’t have the smart pet Id system in place, you can advocate for its adoption by reaching out to your community or property manager and contacting us.
How does the smart pet Id's pin work?
The smart pet Id’s pin offers your identification in case your animal goes missing. If scanned or read, your pet’s pin will prompt an alert at your smart pet Id app and help bring your animal home.
Does the smart pet Id's pin replace or include a microchip?
No. The smart pet Id’s pin does not replace nor include a microchip. Having said that, you may include your pet’s microchip number in your digital pet Id.
What information is stored on the smart pet Id?
The smart pet Id stores essential information such as your pet’s medical history, vaccination records, contact details, and care instructions. This information is securely stored and easily accessible and shareable when and if needed.
Who has access to my pet data (e.g. medical history, vaccination records, contact details, and care instructions)?
Only you and your authorized users under the Family Plan. In the event your pet is reported as missing, our system automatically releases your emergency contact if it has been added to your pet profile so that if someone scans your pet’s pin that person has access to your direct contact information. You can opt out from this feature at any time in the notification settings. Your security and privacy means everything to us.
Property managers have access to my pet's individual information?
No. Except for identification information (e.g. name, species, breed and birthdate), only you and your authorized users have access to your pet’s individual data. Automated alerts and reminders depend on user-provided information. The smart pet Id registration system is an automated self-reporting management system. Your security and privacy means everything to us.
What happens if I lose my pet's smart pet Id pin?
If you lose your pet’s smart Id’s pin, you can easily deactivate it through your account and Order a replacement. This ensures your pet’s information remains secure and up-to-date.
How do I update my pet's information on the smart pet Id?
You can update your pet’s information through the smart pet Id system’s mobile app. This allows you to keep their details current and accurate.
Are there any health benefits associated with using the smart pet Id?
